Meet The Jake and Gino Team!

Dylan Marma

Beginning his real estate investing career in 2015, Dylan quickly rose to a leadership role in a residential and commercial Real Estate investment company in San Diego. There he began investing residential Real Estate, learning how to evaluate markets and manage properties remotely. In early 2018, Dylan joined the team with Rand Partners to expand into additional markets throughout the SouthEast, as well as to build out the systems to open up the doors for outside investors to partner through syndication. Dylan spends a lot of his time analyzing & underwriting new opportunities out of the home office in Knoxville, TN. He also works closely with brokers in our target markets and plays a role as front line contact with investors upon introduction and throughout holding period for asset management communications.

Josh Roosen

After turning the first home he purchased into a rental when moving cross country, Josh saw the power of cash owing assets. To further get his foot in the door he joined up with one the nation’s largest real estate investing education companies, where he became passionate about helping others while furthering his own investing career. After realizing the power of multifamily he joined the jake and gino team to grow his portfolio in multifamily while expanding the Jake & Gino community.

Nick Chapman

Nick Spent 15 years in the lending side of banking. Originally focusing on residential mortgages but as a result of the financial collapse in 2008, he transitioned to business banking and was recruited to work for one of the largest privately held lenders in the country. Shortly after being introduced to Jake and Gino through some mutual friends in the real estate Rand Capital was created as part of the Jake and Gino family of companies. Our goal is to serve our community of students with education about the different lending options available in the market along with providing financing for every deal possible.

Jen Ullrich

Jen Ullrich, CMP joined the Jake & Gino Community after attending their first live event at the recommendation of a friend.  Since learning about multifamily real estate & the power of cash flow, she dove head first into the education platform. Jen joined the Jake & Gino team in 2019 focusing on the community events & taking them to the next level.

 Jen Ullrich, CMP is a certified meeting planner spending the last 10 years working in financial services.  After attending Jake & Gino's first live event in 2017, she understood how multifamily real estate & cash flow leads to financial freedom.  Jen joined the Jake & Gino team in 2019 focusing on the their community events & taking them to the next level.


Darren Light

A mechanical engineer by trade, I quickly realized that my W-2 job and 401K would not support the current and retirement lifestyle that I wanted. At the convincing by a friend I attended one of the guru seminars, here locally in Knoxville. I started purchasing single family rentals and doing flips 4 months after attending the seminar. In April of 2017 I was laid of from my corporate job of 12 years. At that moment I went all in to real estate investing by cashing in my 401K and stock options. In November of 2017 I attended the very first Jake n Gino live event in Knoxville. During the first day of the event I made the decision to focus on multifamily assets and sell all of my single family rentals. But I also still enjoy flipping houses. To date I have done 13 flips in 2 years. My goal for flips in 2019 was 12. I am currently at 6 in various stages.

Since October of 2018 I have become part owner on the GP side in 103 doors. One of my partners and I are currently pursuing over another 200 doors as we speak. I started a Multifamily meetup in Johnson City, TN in March of this year. With Johnson City being such a great market, I saw a need to bring other multifamily investors together there, to leverage the power of partnerships, the market, and capital.I thrive on inspiring and motivating others and living the Go-Giver attitude! I live each day with gratitude.

Bill Ham

Bill is the owner/operator of Phoenix Residential Group and Phoenix Residential Management. He has been in the real estate business for 13 years and has created a portfolio of over 1000 units while growing Phoenix Management to a team of 15 staff members. He has taught real estate for the past 6 years and has dozens of highly successful students. Bill uses his extensive real estate experience to teach his students the “real” side of real estate.

Chris Jackson

Principal and Managing Partner of Sharpline Equity. Chris specializes in handing under-performing multifamily assets with high upside opportunities. Sharpline Equity currently has 300 units under ownership in their portfolio. Chris has over 10 years experience in all aspects of real estate investing from ipping, wholesaling, lending money, small multifamily to large multifamily. Chris began his career as a computer programmer and has 15 years experience in the tech industry. He has been a partner at a Long Island tech firm for the last 7 years. Chris resides on the North Fork of Long Island with his wife and two children. He is an avid bird-watcher and snowboarder.
