MFZ – Raising your Children Independently while Preserving the Family Unit with Rick Sapio

Since 1994, Rick Sapio has been CEO of MCA, an investment holding company which has made more than 100 investments. Since 2003, Rick has been a co-founder/GP of Mutual Capital Partners, a PE firm with three funds. He co-authored the best-selling book, Who’s In Your Room: The Secret to Creating Your Best Life. Rick’s life purpose is to inspire entrepreneurship, which led Rick to start www.BusinessFinishingSchool.com (“BFS”); a virtual learning platform designed to help businesses scale quickly and profitably, which has helped thousands of people the past 10 years. Rick learned that business growth and success are accelerated when a few key principles are applied. He created these “Foundational Business Principles” that form the frame of BFS to help successful people become more grounded and focused in their business and personal lives. He is a 1987 graduate of Rutgers University, with a B.S. in Industrial Engineering, and resides in Dallas, Texas with his wife and their four young children.

Rick’s message is simple, yet very difficult for most families to execute upon. Simplicity and rhythms are two keys that Rick credits for his business and family success. What does he mean by that?

His goal as a parent is to raise a god fearing, independent child who can enter the world and take full responsibility for their actions. He was envisioning married and family life even before he was married. He took responsibility for who he married, and for how him and his wife chose to raise their family. He created a family place mat that contains his family’s core values, mission statement and other important virtues that his family follows on a routine basis.

Rick shares with the listeners the decisions that will lead to an amazing family life, and how to raise happy and independent children.
